All juniors will take the ACT at their high school in March. We recommend that you take the ACT 2-4 times in addition to the March timing. It is most beneficial to take it at least once before the taking it in March and once after. The ACT is free when taken at school, but you will need to register to take it on www.act.org for any of the other times listed below. Science and writing are optional when signing up on your own. You will also have the option to take it on electionically or on paper. This is a personal preference.

ABOUT ME
My name is Anna Duerwachter. I taught for 26 years and have coached high school students for 10 years. I also tutored students before teaching full time for four years in elementary reading and math.
My days outside of working are filled with my nine grandchildren, hiking, and boating. Plus I am working with students to improve their ACT & SAT scores, as well as, enhance their academic success in the classroom. In addition to working with high school students, I love to help younger students enhance their language arts skills.
I have a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum & Instruction from Carroll University plus 60 credits in Reading Instruction.
