ABOUT ME
My name is Anna Duerwachter. I recently went back to the classroom for my 26th year of teaching. I had been retired for two years after 25 years of teaching students in grades 1-6 for the Pewaukee School District and coaching high school students for 10 years. I also tutored students before teaching full time for four years in elementary reading and math.
My days outside of working are filled with my nine grandchildren, hiking, and boating. Plus I am working with students to improve their ACT & SAT scores, as well as, enhance their academic success in the classroom. In addition to working with high school students, I love to help younger students enhance their language arts skills.
I have a Masters in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum & Instruction from Carroll University plus 60 credits in Reading Instruction.
